Slippery - oh yes definitely

Oh my - I had to take Belle for her hydrotherapy swim this morning and it took ages to de-ice the car. Our estate is very icy - we only have to negotiate one junction to get to the main road but even though I was driving very slowly the car just went sliding out - thankfully nothing was coming! This made me even more cautious driving to Sedgefield and I went the motorway route instead of the back roads - on the radio I heard that they had closed the A66 from Darlington to Middlesbrough as there had been 5 accidents - so I was so relieved to get home safe and sound. I know plan to venture out no more today and am going to hopefully get a little more inky crafty play!
